Reigning world champion Jorge Lorenzo will look to deny Marc Marquez his first MotoGP championship tomorrow and the factory Yamaha rider will start from pole after setting a fastest time of 1’27.899.

Lorenzo pipped Marquez right at the death to knock the rookie back to second on the grid ahead of Valentino Rossi in third.

Spaniard Alvaro Bautista will head the second row ahead of compatriot Dani Pedrosa and Cal Crutchlow.
