British rider Leon Camier has been added to the 2014 provisional MotoGP entry list. The 27-year-old is down to ride an Aprilia ART 1000cc machine for the Italian-based Ioda Racing squad on an updated entry list unveiled today.

Camier was left without a ride for 2014 after being dropped at the last minute by the British-based Crescent Suzuki World Superbike squad.

But it now seems that he will be joining Danilo Petrucci on the Ioda ART machine.

With Camier now on the provisional entry list, British fans will have an embarrassment of riches in the premier class this year, with Cal Crutchlow, Bradley Smith, Scott Redding and Michael Laverty all confirmed entries.

The latest updated entry list also confirms Australian Broc Parkes as Paul Bird’s second rider with Laverty, who is preparing for his second season with the Cumbrian millionaire businessman in MotoGP.
