Scott Redding has unveiled the new 2014 Gresini Honda RCV1000R livery that the British rider will campaign in his eagerly anticipated first season in the MotoGP world championship.

The 2013 Moto2 runner-up showed off his new production Honda machine during the launch of Fausto Gresini’s Go&Fun-backed squad in San Marino earlier today.

The Gloucestershire rider, who will partner Spaniard Alvaro Bautista this season, is one of four riders racing Honda’s new production RCV1000R machine in 2014.

Redding is back in pre-season testing action next week at the Sepang track in Malaysia where he will get his first opportunity to assess the potential of the RCV1000R machine while fully fit.

The 21-year-old did make his Gresini Honda debut during the traditional post season test in Valencia last November. But the broken left wrist injury that ultimately ended his brilliant Moto2 title challenge meant he was well below peak physical condition.
