Rins leads the way in Indy

With track conditions improving in Indianapolis Alex Rins set the pace at the end of the Moto2 session to outpace Jonas Folger and Tito Rabat. Rins has had an impressive rookie campaign in the class but the former Moto3 vice-champion will know that he needs to win a race soon to cap off his impressive start to his intermediate class career.

Sam Lowes was fastest in the early parts of the session but ended the morning sixth fastest but having used only one tyre in the session he was pleased with his speed.
