Bradl in doubt for Germany after surgery

1 of 1

With his home Grand Prix next on the calendar Stefan Bradl faces a race against time to be fit for Sachsenring. The German crashed during the race at Assen and fractured his right scaphoid.

The injury required Bradl to have surgery in Augsburg yesterday with Dr Stefan Krischak performing the procedure. Krischak commented “that everything went well” and Bradl was discharged from hospital.

Forward Racing offered no timetable for his recovery but with only 11 days to recover before FP1 it’s unlikely that Bradl will be fit enough to take part.
