Qatar Moto3: Kent on top of Leopard 1-2

1 of 1

Danny Kent and Japanese teammate Hiroki Ono topped the time sheets on day two of the first round of the 2015 Moto3 season. The pair topped the session only 0.01 ahead of yesterday’s leader Miguel Oliveira.

However, the Brit didn’t have it all his own way, with Kent and the Portuguese rider trading places multiple times in the closing ten minutes of the session. Speaking MCN after the session Kent spoke of how confident he is feeling now and how comfortable he feels within the team.

It was a good night all round for the Brits, with Scotsman John McPhee taking fourth, ahead of rookie sensation Fabio Quartraro in fifth. The action remained close right down the field, with 0.2 covering the top five and only a second covering the top thirteen.
