Michelin will be gathering information today at Le Mans with Michael Laverty and Randy de Puniet testing for Aprilia and Suzuki respectively at the French track.

Tyre testing days are busy for teams, with Michelin offering plenty of fresh rubber options to the riders who have to work through a programme that sees them compare one tyre to the next and determine which are more suitable for individual tracks.

Michelin have plenty of data garnered from Le Mans, with the French circuit typically seeing the softest tyre compounds utilised.
