Intact GP today confirmed that Sandro Cortese and Jonas Folger will team up next year in an all German lineup for the Moto2 squad. The team had been in discussions with Stefan Bradl about the German stepping down to the intermediate class but the news that Folger has signed will give them plenty of hope for a strong campaign on Kalex chassis for next year.

Making the announcement the team’s manager, Jurgen Lingg, said:

“We are really pleased that Jonas is joining our team. He certainly is one of the biggest talents in motorsport right now. This will be the first restructuring exercise for the Intact GP team since it was founded and I am really looking forward to that challenge. We will do our very best to provide both, Sandro and Jonas, with a working environment that will help them to succeed in the championship.”

Folger is 22 years old and made his Grand Prix debut in 2009.
