Sixth pole of the year for Zarco

Johann Zarco will start from pole position at tomorrow’s San Marino Grand Prix with the Moto2 championship leader taking his sixth pole of the season. Zarco edged Alex Rins by just two thousands of a second at Misano with the Spaniard continuing his strong rookie campaign with a fourth consecutive front row start. Tito Rabat was third fastest.

Sam Lowes was seventh fastest after losing his fastest time of the day having ran wide over the exit kerbs at turn 12.
