MotoGP: Provisional 2017 calendar released

1 of 1

MotoGP organisers Dorna have released a provisional calendar for the 2017 MotoGP season, which will as tradition kick off in late March at Qatar’s Losail International Circuit.

The calendar then sees no major changes throughout the year – although there is a week added between Argentina and America following last year’s travel chaos that saw many of the paddock stranded in South America and rushing to make the back-to-back race.

The British Grand Prix will return to the final weekend in August at Silverstone, which brings the race into conflict once again with the MCE British Superbike’s traditional Cadwell Park weekend.
