MotoGP’s official charity Two Wheels for Life have confirmed an action-packed schedule for this year’s annual Day of Champions at Silverstone, as they gear up for their biggest fundraising event of the year ahead of the British Grand Prix later this month.

The Entertainment Zone gates open at 0900, with fans able to enjoy live music and incredible stunt displays from trials legend Dougie Lampkin MBE.  Then Julian Ryder takes to the stage to interview the stars of the sport, Keith Huewen reveals the stories of the Unsung Heroes of MotoGP, and Matt Roberts and Michael Hill host Inside Moto, giving fans the chance to ask their own questions to the MotoGP stars for the first time.

The selected riders of Dorna’s first-ever British Talent Cup will take to the stage at 1430, with the 90 shortlisted riders who will compete for a spot on the grid in Britain’s new one-make series at the British Grand Prix, with the official selection event being held on Wednesday and Thursday of that week at Silverstone’s Stowe circuit.

Then the main event kicks off from 1500, with Two Wheels for Life co-founder Randy Mamola joined on stage by BT Sport’s Gavin Emmett and Jules Ryder and the stars of MotoGP for the highlight of the day, the auction, with an incredible line-up of lots up for grabs, auctioned off by the racers themselves as they join the hosts on stage.

Tickets for the Entertainment Zone are £15 pre-booked (£18 on the day), and can be bought here.
