MotoGP: Lowes and Espargaró unveil radically different Aprilia

Gresini Aprilia racers Sam Lowes and Aleix Espargaró have unveiled the radically different livery that they’ll campaign the 2017 MotoGP season on, in the team’s official launch at their home base in Noale.

The new Italian-themed paint job is a radical step away from last year’s more traditionally Aprilia black and red design, and promises to be one of the most instantly recognisable colour schemes on the grid when the season kicks off next month in Qatar.

However, the bikes unveiled today are still a long way away from what the duo will ride when the season kicks off next month at the Losail circuit, with improvements to both chassis and engine expected at next week’s Qatar test, as well as the new internal winglet fairing first tested by Espargaró last month at Phillip Island.
