Honda Racing reveal TT plans

John McGuiness and Keith Amor have been confirmed by Honda Racing for the North West 200 and TT and rumours persist that they may also do the entire World Endurance championship, along with another TT hero, Steve Plater.

Honda Racing team boss Neil Tuxworth said: “We have signed McGuinness and Amor for the North West and TT but we’re still in negotiations with potential backers so I can’t confirm the title sponsor.”

Tuxworth wouldn’t be drawn to comment on rumours that McGuinness and Amor will also contest the entire World Endurance season or the fact that Steve Plater, may partner them in the long-distance races.

The future of the Honda Racing BSB effort also remains unclear with Tuxworth admitting: “We are a long way from confirming anything. We’re not financially in a position to put together a BSB team at this stage.”
