Britain’s Neil Hodgson is aiming to claim the World Superbike championship at Round 10 in Assen on September 7. And we want your messages of support.

The former British Superbike champion has dominated the series with 11 wins and five second places from the 18 races so far this season. His nearest rival, factory Ducati team-mate Ruben Xaus, trails Hodgson by 146 points, with 150 still available including Assen.

Many British fans will be travelling to the Dutch circuit to enjoy the atmosphere and watch Hodgson be crowned champion. And we want to know if you have any tips for making the journey a memorable one. If there’s a group of you organising a ride-in, if you know of a great place to stay, or if there’s a particular place to be wary of the Dutch traffic laws, then we’d like to know about it. Send your tips to michael.guy@emap.com and help other fans avoid mishaps. Like the time two riders managed to get lost and find a non-English speaking Dutchman. Who then decided to show them the 5-mile route back to their hotel by jogging there, with the two sports-bike riders forced to follow at a little over walking pace.

You can find details of the circuit by following the appropriate link on the right.

And if you’re worried about any mechanical problems, NCI offer a European breakdown cover package from just £26.50. Phone 0870-901-2999 to find out more.
