The flag falls on the first round of the World Superbike championship in Qatar this weekend. We’ll be bringing you live updates starting with Thursday and Friday’s qualifying sessions.

Log on to motorcyclenews.com on Thursday February 24, at 11:15am and Friday at 8am to catch live updates and see how the Brits are fairing.

Will current world champion James Toseland be able to stay ahead of the throng of Japanese bikes that have entered this year? Can Chris Walker be tame the ZX-10R?

The first qualifying session takes place at 11:15am today. Friday will be busier with second qualifying at 8am followed by a free practice at 11:45am and the all-important Superpole session at 1pm.

Plus we’ll be first with the results from the two races on Saturday. Race one starts at 9pm, with race two at 12:30pm.
