Ducatis top WSB practice

The factory Ducatis of Regis Laconi and James Toseland head the first free practice session for the WSB round at Silverstone this weekend.

Regis Laconi completed 22 laps with a fastest time of 1:28.422. to head team-mate and reigning world champion James Toseland, who finished with a time of 1:28.688 after 26 laps.

Third quickest is Australian Troy Corser on the Alstare Suzuki, folloed by Chris Vermulen and Yukio Kagayama. Brit Chris Walker is seventh quickest on the PSG-1 Kawasaki with 1:29.333.

And in Supersport, British wildcard Cal Crutchlow has posted the fourth quickest time, just a second behind fastest man, Sebastien Charpentier. Team-mate Craig Jones is 11th quicket, with Tom Tunstall 16th.
