McWilliams to race AMA

1 of 1

Jeremy McWilliams will race a Buell XBRR at the fourth round of the AMA Superbike championship at the Infineon Raceway on Saturday, May 20, 2006.

However, he won’t be up against fellow Brit Neil Hodgson, as he’ll be racing in the Formula Xtreme class. McWilliams will ride for the Warr’s Harley-Davidson and Buell of London team, as he did at the Daytona 200 race, at which he ran in seventh place until a retirement due to a mechanical problem.

“It was a superb learning experience at our debut in Daytona and we look forward to putting those lessons intro practice at Infineon,” said team owner John Warr. “We’ve worked closely with Buell to improve on what was an already an extremely competitive motorcycle, and I know Jeremy’s definitely keen to show what it can really do!”
