Stiggy signs 2007 riders

Swedish World Supersport rider Johan Stigefelt will concentrate on team management in 2007 with new rider Yoann Tibeiro joining Robbin Harms on Honda CBR600RRs.

Dark Dog Stiggy Motorsports will be one of just three teams supported by Honda in World Supersport, with both riders on new 2007 machines. Frenchman Tibeiro moves up from Superstock, in which he rode for the Megabike team, taking second place in the championship in 2006. Danish rider Harms finished fifth in the WSS championship this season to retain his ride.

“After many years in the world championships, it is time for me to take care of my team,” said Stigefelt. “The signing of Yoann is very important for the team in order to reach a higher level. He is a young and professional rider with lot of potential to become the world champion. We may find him challenging Robbin for the podium.”
