Max: Love me or hate me

Don’t feel bad if you haven’t become a fan of Max Biaggi yet,  that’s the way he wants it.

After taking a win and a second last weekend in Qatar it’s clear that Biaggi is here to win, but throughout his MotoGP career he had a reputation of splitting race fans in to camps that either love or hate him and despite his new clean cut image it doesn’t look like that’s going to change.

Speaking to MCN he said: “I think if you are a rider and everyone likes you then there is something wrong going on underneath – I prefer to divide the people. Some people love you and some don’t, this is right and it gives the chance for some other riders.

“I don’t want everyone to like me that is why I am happy with who I am.”
