Haga goes quickest at Monza

Noriyuki Haga set the quickest time at the first WSB practice of the weekend at Monza.

The Yamaha rider recorded a time of 1:46.540 ahead of Australia’s Troy Bayliss who went round in 1:47.098.

Alstare Suzuki rider Yukio Kagayama wad third fastest around the Italian track just over four 10ths of a second behind Bayliss.

Current championship leader James Toseland was fourth this morning (Friday) on his Honda with a best time of 1:47.509.

Fellow Brit Dean Ellison was 23rd in this session with a time of 1:51.839 on his Ducati.
