World Superbikes exclusive: Michel Fabrizio lands 2008 Xerox Ducati ride

Italian young gun Michel Fabrizio has secured the most coveted ride in World Superbikes after signing to join Troy Bayliss in the XeroxDucati squad 2008.  

Although no official announcement has been made MCN understands a deal is done for Michel Fabrizio to ride one of the works 1200cc 1098Rs.

It will see him prised from the hands of Honda Europe who saw the 22-year-old as a star of the future.

Despite average results during two years in World Superbikes, Michel Fabrizio is regarded as a serious talent having shown occasional good pace and secured podium results onboard the privateer DFX Honda.
