Three times WSB champion Troy Bayliss says he agrees with seven times GP Champion Valentino Rossi that WSB is more fun than MotoGP.

Rossi made the controversial comments over the closeness of racing in WSB compared to this years MotoGP championship, which culminated in a processional final race of the year at Valencia.

In stark contrast, the final round of the World Superbike Championship at Parkalgar was a classic with multiple changes of position, fairing bashing and unpredictable racing.

In an exclusive interview with MCN, Bayliss spoke about his thoughts on the two championships, his rivals, his greatest races and why he retired.

Bayliss said:

“For sure WSB is more fun than MotoGP, no doubt about that. We’ve got so many bikes where as in MotoGP if they have a bit of a weekend and a few people crash when you look at the grid lining up it’s a bit poor.

“But it is the top class, GP is GP, it’s the best of the best and the best things that can be made go there. Superbikes are a great class and even though our bikes are production based they are still race bikes and the time difference is the very small.”
