Kyalami WSB: Fabrizio takes dominant race one win

Xerox Ducati rider Michel Fabrizio has won the first race at Kyalami after taking the lead after the first corner and gapping the rest of the field.

Veteran Carlos Checa finished second after he too gapped the rest of the field after the first corner.

Championship leader Leon Haslam stretched his championship lead to five points after finishing third, ahead of championship rival Max Biaggi in fourth.

Hannspree Ten Kate Honda rider Jonathan Rea finished fifth after a spectacular end to his race saw him overtake Cal Crutchlow, James Toseland and Leon Camier.

Camier, Toseland and Crutchlow finished sixth, seventh and eighth respectively.
