Rossi tests 1198: full gallery

Ducati has released the following pictures of Valentino Rossi riding the new 1198 superbike this afternoon at Misano. 

The multiple world champ is reportedly using the WSB testing session to evaluate the state of his shoulder before MotoGP testing gets underway in Malaysia next month.

Recuperation from last November’s shoulder operation – to fix a motocross injury sustained last April – is taking Rossi longer than anticipated. Rossi informed us that his surgeons have told him he won’t be fully fit until April or May, which means no chance of a world title this year.
