Haga back to WSB

Noriyuki Haga will make a dramatic return to the World Superbike Championship later this year. The 43 time race winner who last rode in the championship in 2011 onboard the PATA Aprilia will ride for the Grillini BMW team.

The 38 year old Japanese star is expected to make his wild card appearance at the Imola round of the championship at the end of June and he will use the track time as preparation for his appearance at the Suzuka 8-hour where he will ride alongside long time friend Yukio Kagayama and 1993 500GP champion Kevin Schwantz.

An official announcement is expected later today .
