Pedercini still deciding on team size

In landing the services of 2014 WSB Evo championship winner David Salom and with those some extra support from Kawasaki in terms of technical parts and staff, Team Pedercini may well be looking at the possibility of their best WSB season for some time.

The main remaining question for team manager Lucio Pedercini is whether his team remains as a one-rider outfit, or grows in size to take on board another pilot from Spain, who may be able to bring sponsorship funds for himself and the team in general.

“We are not sure if we will have a one or two rider team,” confirmed Pedercini at Motorland Aragon “For sure, we are really focused on David Salom but I have another possibility, with one guy, and behind him maybe he has a big sponsor. Only if he arrives with that money, then it could be good to help the existing project as well. I hope by the end of this week, before the test at Jerez, we should know.”

Pedercini is looking forward to closer links with Kawasaki and has already seen the benefit at first hand, and been impressed by the help his team has already received.

“The link with Kawasaki is very good and I am very happy,” said Pedercini. “I spoke to the mechanics who went to Provec in Spain to build the bikes up. They were very good with us and I am very positive. Our bike will be very close to their bike and I think we can do a very good job this year.”
