Cluzel Returns At Jerez

Having lost his chance of the 2015 WSS championship at Jerez last season French rider Jules Cluzel returned to the track with his MV Agusta squad for his first test, the last one of 2015. He broke his lower leg badly in a practice crash at Jerez in September, and has not ridden since.

As Cluzel explained, “This was my target, to be here, because this is the last test of the year. After we will have to wait a minimum of one month. We will see how it is on track and we will try. Movement in my left ankle is not 100% but I hope it will be enough. There are three riders here but Massimo Roccoli is only testing for the CIV and to help here for development but it is good to have him on board here.” Lorenzo Zanetti, back for another year with MV, is the third MV rider at Jerez.

Cluzel confirmed that he will ride for MV again in 2016, despite all the back-room and team management changes since the Forward Racing squad joined with MV Agusta for 2016. “I am happy to be back on this bike and with MV Agusta, I will continue with the same people around me and this is important.”
