Exclusive video: All-new Triumph Daytona 675 spotted

The all-new, completely overhauled Triumph Daytona 675 has been spotted by MCN reader Bash Bailey, who filmed the bike undergoing testing on the roads near Triumph’s Hinckley factory.

The revamped 675 will be seen in finished form at the end of 2012 before going on sale in 2013. The bike features an all-new fairing; the underseat exhaust has been dumped in favour of a stubby side-mounted version but frame and engine remain essentially the same. The lights, rear seat and subframe are completely different on the comprehensively overhauled bike.

While sales of the 600cc machines have dropped by as much as 75% in some markets, the Triumph Daytona 675 remains a good seller for the British firm, with many putting that down to the more road-oriented nature of the three-cylinder motor’s power and torque delivery.
