Gilera 600 Supersport & Streetracer

After the presentation of the new APRILIA Superbike, Piaggio Group want to throw again also the historic brand GILERA.

In fact, I think in the first days of the 2009 it will come introduced to surprise the completely new 4 cylinders 600cc. The bike will be most modern and much beatiful one. The front 4 cylinders is announced as most powerful of the category and will equipped by variable injection and twin spark, it will be inserted in a “SCULPTURE” chassis completely in light alloy that will be also integrated part of the body.

Innovation also in the exhaust system, composed from a big box in optimal position in order to centralize the masses with two little lateral escapes. It seems that also a very exciting second model will be born from this base. The STREETRACER sport naked, wants to be a homage to the “QUATTRO” racing of the 50’s. Ciao ciao.
