New kit this week

Luggage experts SW Motech’s Legend Gear line features products suited to modern retro and classic machines, such as the LT3 Tank Bag. Constructed from Eco-Tech polyester, it has a cotton-like finish for vintage looks with modern performance and can be expanded from 3 to 5 litres as required. Attaches with a model specific tank ring.
Manufactured from highly durable chrome moly, this 36mm precision impact socket is intended for Ducati models with a twin sided swingarm, such as the Monster 821, Multistrada 950/1200 and Panigale 899/959. It has a ½” drive compatible with most impact guns and a 12-point bi-hex pattern.
These sporty shorty gloves are perfect for summer riding, thanks to perforations in the fingertips and vented protector panels. TPU knuckle and scaphoid armour earns them a 1KP CE rating, with plenty of padded panels for comfort. Construction is full grain leather, incorporating touch screen friendly pads.
Tis the season for mesh jackets, and this CE AA certified sporty number from Oxford should stop you getting hot and bothered when the sun’s doing its stuff. The Omega boasts generous ventilated panels right around the body and under the arms for masses of airflow. Protection includes level 2 shoulder and elbow armour.
Designed with warmer weather in mind, these female-fit pants have a comfortable, regular cut with a tapered bottom, plus a mesh lining to allow air to circulate. Stretchy materials ensure full and free movement both on and off the bike, with plenty of pockets for essentials. Includes level 1 knee armour and CE A approval.

Last week’s releases

This waterproof backpack from accessory specialists Pyramid is meant to be versatile and feature-full, with lots of possibilities for its £50 RRP. Made out of heat-resistant and easy-clean 500D PVC, it integrates an air release valve to quickly compress the load, and padded shoulder straps for added comfort.
Marketed as an all-in-one casual summer riding boot, the Skyline Air WP from footwear specialists Eleveit is designed with high breathability and waterproofing in mind, without compromising walking comfort for the sake of protection. Prices start at £150, featuring a lace-plus-zip closure and thin rubberised gear lever pad.
Richa's Monaco jacket is meant to provide ample airflow, for anyone riding in temperatures akin to its namesake. CE A rated with D3O protectors at the shoulders and elbows, it comes with a detachable waterproof membrane that fits over the top of the garment, should the heavens open up unexpectedly.
Oxford's Retra Cable is a small and simple way to thwart any opportunists from making off with your luggage while you're not around. The retractable steel braided cable is 1.5mm thick and up to 120cm in length, and can be locked around anything with a four digit combination.
Known for their range of high-spec helmets, the Y.TRAVL from Portuguese firm NEXX is priced at a cool £179.99 for the plain black or white versions. Still designed and made in Europe along with the rest of their range, it's available in two shell sizes, and is aerodynamically optimised to minimise turbulence.
