New kit this week

This set of bi-hex (12pt) spanners could prove invaluable where space is too limited to get a proper turn on a fastener, thanks to a 72 tooth ratchet system with just 5° of movement between each step. Covering 20-32mm, they’re manufactured from chrome vanadium and should easily outlast anything you’re working on.
Designed and manufactured in Portugal, Nexx’s range topping ACU Gold approved sports/road lid is available in three new colourways, Sky Blue, Red and Deep Blue ‘Swirl’. The carbon shell has been optimized for airflow and tips the scales at just 1350g, plus it ships with a second visor and spoiler extension for the track.
In celebration of the touring accessory expert’s 35th anniversary, the special edition of the Touratech Aventuro features an all-new livery in the company’s distinctive colours. Features include a full carbon shell with integrated drop down visor, new glove-friendly design and improved ventilation.
The sixth generation of adventure kit guru Klim’s over-armour shell has been designed with high performance climate control in mind. Intended for off road use, it features a triple layer Gore-Tex laminate construction, high volume air vents and a neck brace compatible collar. Matching pants are available too.
Looking just like regular high street jeans, these CE AA certified slim-fit denim strides from Oxford are actually anything but. Reinforced for abrasion resistance where it’s needed and packing level 1 armour for hip and knee, they have a moisture wicking mesh lining and super stretchy outer layer for comfort.

Last week’s releases

Oxford’s range topping dual layered cover is essentially an all-season tent for your motorcycle. The waterproof outer is hard wearing 600D polyester, with large vents to prevent condensation and a breathable soft, stretchy inner. Adjustable straps keep it snugly in place, and there are strategically placed holes for additional security.
The latest version of Astars’ popular sports glove features an all-new dual density TPU knuckle protector, aramid stretch fabric cuff and a racing derived finger bridge. Construction is leather, with perforations for ventilation and impact absorbing padding on the palm and thumb. Available in black/white, red or fluo yellow.
These technical touring boots have a lightweight microfibre upper with a breathable waterproof membrane and soft mesh comfort lining. A triple compound rubber sole provides grip both on and off the bike, and the long side entry with Velcro flap makes light work of getting them on and off.
Aimed at the all year adventure touring rider, this CE AA certified jacket has a fixed waterproof membrane, generous ventilation panels and a removable thermal liner. The outer shell is reinforced with Ripstop fabric and equipped with large waterproof pockets, plus various options for a fine-tuned fit. Elbow and shoulder armour included.
Essentially two outfits in one, the Tectonic is made up of two separate jackets, an armoured CE AA certified fully mesh base layer and a triple layer Hydratex water and wind proof overjacket. It’s available in grey, blue or brown and is compatible with the Avertum Tech-Air or Tech5 airbag systems.
