Be ready for anything your tour throws at you with Leatt adventure gear

Paid partnership with Leatt

When you’re heading off for an extended tour, whether it’s a day of exploring your local trails or months of serious adventure, you need to be dressed for anything.

Adventure-touring kit is some of the hardest-working gear out there; it has to be ready for anything from desert heat to Arctic storms and from a tumble on the dirt to a slide down the tarmac! It’s a constant balancing act.

Leatt’s 7.5 Multi Tour jacket aims to do just that, with its modular approach to weather protection and breathability, CE level 2 armour and all the comforts and features of a premium jacket. Or, slightly further down the range, the 5.5 Multi Tour is a simplified version of the same concept.

Modular practicality

Wearing Leatt riding gear on the road

Both Multi Tour jackets use a three-part layering system that comprises an outer shell with full CE level 2 protection, a waterproof and windproof membrane layer, and a thermal layer.

This approach allows the rider to mix and match to suit the environment and boost both practicality and comfort. Separating the waterproofing from the outer shell means you can maximise breathability when you need it most on a hot, technical trail.

You can add the membrane if you get caught out by a shower or just the thermal layer if it’s chilly but dry. And even if you drop to the outer shell only, you’ll be protected in an accident.

Which Multi Tour is right for you?

Leatt HydraDri 7.5 boots

Your feet are particularly vulnerable on a trail. Branches, tree roots, debris, rocks and ruts can all be opportunities to sustain an injury and even dapping down a foot on uneven terrain riding a heavy adventure bike can be a recipe for disaster.

Proper motocross boots are as protective as it gets, but they’re not designed or built for all-day comfort and their limited mobility and feel becomes a pain on the road.

Enter the HydraDri 7.5, a top choice for riders who value protection and comfort. 3DF impact protection and Flexlimitor give the 7.5 boots a secure fit designed to deliver comfort and total dryness for those all-day rides. Built with nubuck leather for outstanding durability, the boots feature the HydraDri EVO membrane.

Comfortable and grippy on or off the bike, the boots are secured with advanced forged aluminium buckles and unique, patent-pending Sidelock Hook and Loop – a groundbreaking one-way sliding closure ensuring a seamless seal at the boot’s top.
