MCN overall review verdict: The BMW F800GT is a bike that can do the daily commute in comfort and safety thanks to the updated fairing, screen and standard ABS, before handling a longer weekend ride with a pillion and luggage. BMW F800GT long-term test During 2017 we lived with an F800GT for a year, and thoroughly enjoyed our time with the bike. We rode all the way to Germany and back on it, plus loads of shorter in-country trips. We also fitted some extras such as the firm's paniers and changed the look of the bike.
