MCN overall review verdict: The Suzuki Bandit 1200 (official name: GSF1200 Bandit) is one of biking's true bargains. Grunty Suzuki GSX-R1100 derived engine, decent handling for its day and simple to tune up should you require more lairy A roads fun. The 2000-onwards GSF1200 Bandits are more touring based, a bit softer, but the finish is slightly better. In 2007 the Suzuki Bandit 1200 was replaced by the GSF1250 Bandit. Once you've read this review and our owners' reviews, there's every chance you'll want to join a community to meet likeminded owners, buy and sell parts and bikes, or just research more about the Bandit 1200. We'd recommend the Bandit Owners' Club.
