MCN overall review verdict: The Yamaha YZF-R125 took aim squarely at the Honda CBR125R, which was flying out of showrooms faster than its larger capacity counterparts. Yamaha, meanwhile, had a gap in their range for a 125cc sport motorcycle, and the YZF-R125 filled that gap by combining the Honda’s easy-going ride with a little bit more poke and grown up looks – it’s actually slightly bigger than the Yamaha R6 that inspired its styling!
