MCN Fleet: R1200RT is perfect rehabilitation

1 of 1

After I broke my collarbone in three bits in a racing incident at Oliver’s Mount my RT has spent the last six weeks untouched. But finally the doctors at orthteam.com gave me the all clear to get back on the bike, just take it steady.

Thankfully the RT is so easy to ride it doesn’t cause any complications and I was out at first light the very next day. Not riding for a month was almost as painful as breaking my collarbone, but thankfully my RT was kind to me when I came back. For a big bike she’s a doddle to ride at a sedate speed, however I’m not up for getting the big girl onto her centrestand – not just yet.
