Bike insurance advice: How to disclose an accident that wasn't your fault

Even if an incident has not resulted in a claim (say if you fall off your bike and it slides into the car in front, but there's so little damage that the other driver doesn't put in a claim), you still have to disclose this to prospective insurers for at least three years, as your insurer at the time would have entered it on to one of the registers.

If the insurer has closed the incident as no claim was made, all you need to do is simply enter £1 on the internet quote engine and put the incident as 'non-fault'.

All the bike insurance websites demand a claim amount if you put the accident details in, and won't allow a no-value claim.
