Rider Power survey’s top bikes and dealers revealed

Three Hondas, a BMW and a Yamaha fill the top five spots in this year’s RiDER Power survey, published in RiDE magazine this Friday (August 17).

At number five it’s Yamaha’s XJR1300, fourth is Honda’s latest Super Blackbird, third is the Honda SP-1 and second is the BMW R1100RS.

The Pan European tops the lot with an overall rating of 88.47 per cent.

The survey includes ratings, as scored by owners, for the top 110 bikes.

Customers also rated dealers and voted BMW dealer Rainbow, of Sheffield the best in the North East. Yamaha-Honda-Suzuki franchise ESB, of Bolton as best in the North West, BMW’s CW of Dorchester as best in the South West and Honda dealer CJ Ball of Hales, as best in East Anglia.

Top Welsh dealer is Honda’s Thunder Road, of Brigend, the best of the Midlands is Yamaha’s Alf England, of Bedworth and the Scots scored Kawasaki and Suzuki dealer Cupar Motorcycles, Fife, as their favourite.

In London it’s Yamaha and Honda dealer Woodford Motorcycles which earns the plaudits and BMW’s SPC, of Farringdon, which earns highest respect in the South East.
