Donington: Your complaints

1 of 1

Donington race goers are warning they won’t be going back to the circuit after bad experiences at last weekend’s GP.

While many made the best of it by having as good a time as possible (and you’ll see the evidence in the pictures they’ve sent in, right) others have felt it’s time to speak out and are peppering our Talk Bikes bulletin boards with heavy criticism.

Here’s just a few examples: ” Never been to the track before, and never again. Totally un organised. They expect you to park in wet grass on bikes, the food is overpriced… and. this is the 21st century. ”

Another user complains: ” Ordered my tickets in April, was charged on my credit card in April, received my tickets last Tuesday. Also, paid full price for entry and grandstand, decided to go earlier and had to pay more fore camping and another £15 to get in for the qualifying. I have sent 15 mails to the Donington web site and have yet to receive a reply. I won’t be going back unless things get much better. ”

And another says: ” I seem to remember reading these comments before… also remember reading repliess from track owners and organisors insisting the problems would be solved next year…….SO WHAT HAPPENED THIS YEAR THEN? ”

You can add your comments, if you are a registered motorcyclenews.com user, by going to Talk Bikes (follow the link, right).

If you’ve yet to register, simply go to LOG IN at the top right of the page and fill in the form.

We’re ending our call for your pictures of Donington now. Thanks to everyone who has take the time and trouble to send them in. We’ll be doing the same for Brands World Superbikes, so get your camera ready!
