Hodgson thanks fans for wedding day messages

World superbike star and newly-crowned MCN Man of the Year Neil Hodgson marries long-time girlfriend Kathryn Hoare on Sunday.

Neil is a regular on the site, contributing columns, joining in live web chats and keeping close tabs on his dedicated message board.

They will marry close to their hometown of Burnley, though the exact location isn’t being revealed. The couple are hoping to keep the occasion low-key, for family and friends.

Neil popped the question at the top of Table Mountain in South Africa and they have been together for four years.

He said: ” Getting married to Kathryn has been something I have wanted since I met her. Everything we have done together over the past few years has been building up to Sunday. ”
