Haslam: Rossi and dad are my heroes

Leon Haslam is racing alongside his all-time favourite bike racer: Valentino Rossi. Oh, and then of course there’s dad Ron.

GP 500 racer Leon, 18, was answering your questions in a live web chat in our VIP Lounge on Thursday lunchtime.

Leon also admitted that, should they ever come back into fashion, he’d have a bash at growing sideburns as impressive as his father’s.

He talked about the exciting life of being a GP racer at 18, and how he loved to perform Crusty Demons of Dirt style tricks in the past on motocross bikes.
