MCN’s Spring Spectacular at Butlins

1 of 1

It’s that time of year again – pack the missus (maybe), a change of pants (if you’re feeling lucky), and a packet of extra-strength aspirin (better make that two). The MCN Spring Spectacular at Butlins, Skegness starts this Friday, April 12th.

Apart from the usual stunt shows, beer, free dyno runs, CCM supermoto demos, beer, minimotos and a mass rideout to Cadwell Park, more beer, trade stands, loads of loud music there’ll be beer (and a nice fruit-based cocktail for the lady?), a funfair and go karts.

We’ll be there in force to join in the fun and you’ll be able to see pictures of your own antics on motorcyclenews.com straight after the weekend.

In order to preserve them for posterity, you won’t remember it after all, we’d like you to capture your moments of madness and send them to us as J-PEGs and we’ll post the best (and the worst). Send them to dave.batchelor@emap.com

Weekend tickets for the Spring Spectacular are sold out, but click on the link on the right to see how you can still join in the fun.

The best bit about Butlins, (apart from the aforementioned beer) is the sense of community. So if you’d like to join in a ride-out to Butlins , or want to tell us about yours, e-mails the details to dave.batchelor@emap.com . Just click on the link on the right to check where you can join one.

****Important notice****

A word of warning, however. The police are especially vigilant on the roads to Skegness and with the volume of traffic expected to descend on the town they will be even tougher on speeding riders, particularly on the A631 or the A52, roads with a concentration of accident blackspots.

But a spokesman for Lincolnshire police has assured MCN that it won’t be using this as an excuse to clampdown on small numberplates or loud cans. PC Keith Robinson said: ” However many people visit us in Lincoln shire, we want the same amount to go home. We don’t want to spoil anyone’s weekend. ”

Directions:

Butlins is located on the A52 heading from Skegness to Mablethorpe in Lincolnshire.
