Niall Mackenzie launches autobiography

1 of 1

There have been few more popular, or successful, British riders in the last 20 years than Niall Mackenzie. And you can find out all about what makes him tick in his new autobiography, launched on July 5-6 at the MCN BSB clash at his home circuit of Knockhill.

The book charts Mackenzie’s life from when he was working as a manual labourer in Denny, where he crashed through the local chip shop’s doors on his 350 Yamaha and lost his licence for racing a tractor. It follows Niall’s racing career from his early exploits in Scotland, right through his seven GP podiums and his domination of the MCN British superbike series between 1996 and ’98, when he took three consecutive titles.

The £16.99 book will be on sale at Knockhill and if you’re lucky you’ll catch Niall for an autograph.
