Three months for speeding cop

An off-duty police officer has been jailed for three months after being clocked on his bike at more than 125mph on a 70mph stretch of motorway.

Pc Thomas Cunningham pleaded guilty to dangerous driving at Liverpool Crown Court. In addition to the prison sentence he was also banned for three years.
