Triumph’s rebirth on target for September

Triumph has started the second phase of rebuilding its fire-ravaged Hinckley factory.

Its bikes have been in short supply since the fire on March 15, but the factory’s steel frame has now been rebuilt.

And the firm claims it is on target to have bikes rolling off the production line again by September.

Managing director Karl Wharton told MCN: ” Our construction programme will enable new Triumphs to start rolling off the production line in late September. ”

The second phase of reconstruction includes the external brickwork and roof cladding.
