Sherburn-in-Elmet, North Yorks: Leave Squires Milk Bar 10.30am. Eggs go to nursery and hospice. £3 with eggs, £5 without. Free gig at Squires after. Details: 01937-845567.

Aberdeenshire MAG’s annual Egg Run delivering donated chocolate eggs to children’s homes around Aberdeen will take place on Sunday 24th March 2002. Anyone wishing to participate should meet at Aberdeen Beach Boulevard with an egg at 12:30 for a 13:00 departure.

Nottingham Egg Run. 10:30am, Forest Recreation Ground (Goose Fair Site, not the football ground) to County Hall, Trent Bridge.

Usually a good turn out about 1000 bikes. Bring an Easter Egg to be distributed to sick and needy children by the council.

Sunday March 31

Glasgow – MAG Scotland will be holding the annual Glasgow Easter Egg Run in aid of Yorkhill Sick Childrens Hospitals. Please meet in Blythswood Square (http://www.streetmap.co.uk/streetmap.dll?G2M?X=258447&Y=665680&A=Y&Z=1) at 1 pm for a 1:30pm start and bring along an Easter Egg for the kids in the hospitals. Riders of all types of motorbikes, scooters and trikes and all levels of experience are welcome. The run will go from Blythswood Square to the hospitals in Yorkhill via a roundabout route and will take approximately 30 minutes. We will provide full marshalling and will be accompanied by a police motorcycle escort ensuring a safe, continuous journey.

Ruislip: The Travellers MCC will be leaving The Horse and Barge pub in Harefield and then visiting a children’s hospice in Ruislip, then on to the Stanmore Orthapaedic Childrens Department, before heading to the Ace Café for a cuppa. Cork, Ireland: The Pistons MCC and The Wild Geese MCC are organising Ireland’s biggest bike run with over 1000 riders expected. You can join them in Market Square at 2.30pm where you’ll ride under police escort to Cork city, through all the main streets. All riders must bring an egg and all the money raised will go to the Mercy Hospital Leukemia Fund. Afterwards there’ll be a good craic at the An Cruiscin Lan in Douglas Street with live bands and the black stuff. More more details call Owen on (087) 2560907.
