Ride to work challenge

1 of 1

Place your bets, ladies and gentleman, the Motorcycle Industry Association (MCI)

is launching a journey-time challenge for national Ride To Work Day on June 14.

The MCI wants people taking part and travelling by motorcycle, moped or scooter on the day to challenge friends at work using other forms of transport to see who gets to the office first.

MCI chief executive Mark Foster said the aim of the challenge is to prove that motorcycling is the quickest way to get to work.

He said: ” Ride To Work Day is all about travelling to work by motorcycle, moped or scooter. We want people around the country to take part so they can see for themselves how motorcycling is the best way to beat congestion. ”

It is also running a competition to find the most-motorcycle friendly company in the UK and the prize is a free motorcycle park on site for the benefit of employees. The winner will be the organisation which produces the most participating employees on Ride To Work Day.

If you want a free information pack, press pack or competition pack, then log on to www.mcia.co.uk or call event organisers Tracey King and Anna Rogers on 0870 330 7809/7821.
