Convertible cans for 04 RSV arrive

Silencers that you can convert from road legal to track-only have been launched by Remus for the 2004 Aprilia RSV1000.

The Austrian firm’s Revolution GP cans weigh just 4.6kg for the pair. They are EC road legal approved in standard trim and, the makers claim, they offer a ” deep and resonant sound ” .

But when you want extra power and torque throughout the rev-range you can remove the riveted sound tube to transforms the Revolution GP into a full on, full noise, straight-through racing silencer.

Made from stainless steel internals you can choose from three different outer sleeve materials, aluminium, carbon and titanium.

They were previously available for a range of other bikes. The versions for the 2004 RSV1000 are priced at £580 for alloy, and £650 for carbon or titanium. (per pair).
