Last chance bargains

There are some great deals to be had including a 2003 Honda Varadero with a Datatool alarm and only 2900miles on the clock for just £5195.

If you need something that will take you round Europe in luxury, there’s a pristine BMW R1100RT with full hard luggage and only 20,000 miles, well under par, for just £4000.

But if you have to have the ultimate in sports bikes and have got a bit more cash to play with there is a 2003 Ducati 999S going for £11,000. It’s only got 1600miles on the clock, as well as full Ohlins suspension and that price is £3500 less than the price of a new one.

If you still want the Ducati experience but don’ t want to spend quite that much, there is a 1997 748 Biposto with Termignoni carbon exhausts (plus the originals), race EPROM, braided brake lines, Marchesini wheels and lots of carbon fibre extras. All for £3500.

If a cruiser is more your style there is a Kawasaki VN1500 Drifter for £5000, or maybe you want a naked hooligan tool like a Buell X1 Lightning with Yoshimura exhaust and only 2600miles for £4800.

If a budget bike is all you’re after then you can’t go wrong with a Kawasaki ER-5. This one has got a full aftermarket fairing and hard luggage for just £1350.
