Ducati creates another SportClassic

1 of 1

Ducati is to add to its SportClassic range with a bike inspired by the 750cc F1 machine raced by Marco Lucchinelli and Virginio Ferrari in the mid-’80s.

It will used the DS1000 air-cooled engine and is expected to cost around £10,500. It’s a computer-generated image at present but could be in limited production within a year.

The F1 makes a fourth SportClassic in the Ducati pipeline. Read about a fifth in MCN, out on Wednesday May 12, 2004.

This week’s MCN also features a free A-Z guide to the joys of riding your bike in Europe. Get ready for the summer right now.
